PT. Victorindo Alam Lestari and PT. Nagamas Palmoil Lestari, the subsidiaries of Permata Hijau Group (PHG) were honored with the prestigious PROPER Hijau Award on 28 December 2021 by Kementrian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK) in Jakarta. This award is the culmination of our commitment and our hard work to go beyond the requirement to protect the environment.

PROPER is the premier environmental award in Indonesia with 2,593 participants this year. It awards 5 level of Performance: Gold (Emas), Green (Hijau), Blue (Biru), Red (Merah) and Black (Hitam). The level of Green (Hijau) is awarded to companies who have fully complied with all of the environmental regulations in Indonesia and who have implemented green programs that went beyond the requirement. Those Green programs included programs in energy efficiency, greenhouse gas emission reduction, hazardous and non-hazardous waste reduction, reuse and recycle, water efficiency and reduction in wastewater, biodiversity protection and community development.

Of the 2,593 participants, only 47 companies were awarded PROPER Emas and 186 companies were awarded PROPER Hijau. PHG is proud to be part of this select few and will continue to implement sustainable practices in every level of operations.
