Permata Group acknowledges the recent decision of the Indonesian Supreme Court, which overturned the earlier acquittal of Permata Hijau Group following an appeal by the Attorney General’s Office (AGO).

With respect to Permata Group, the AGO’s appeal concerns five subsidiaries — PT Nagamas Palmoil Lestari, PT Permata Hijau Palm Oleo, PT Permata Hijau Sawit, PT Pelita Agung Agrindustri, and PT Nubika Jaya — in relation to an alleged case involving CPO export facilities.

While we respect the Supreme Court’s ruling, Permata Group maintains that the measures taken by the Respondents during the period in question were carried out responsibly, in full compliance with applicable regulations, and in good faith to support the domestic market.
